Bridging The Cloud Transformation Gap: Aptum’s Cloud Impact Study 2021 Part 1
Aptum’s inaugural Cloud Impact Study, created from the opinions of 400 senior IT professionals in the US, UK and Canada, reveals that businesses clearly understand the benefits of the cloud.
In fact, 72% of organizations see the cloud as a driver of increased efficiency, and 89% see it as essential to business continuity. Perhaps that’s why Gartner predicts worldwide public cloud revenue will grow 6.3% in 2020.
But there is a gap between expectations and reality. For example, just 33% of respondents to the Aptum study reported complete success at increasing efficiency, and 35% were able to ensure business continuity in the cloud. In fact, just 39% of companies are completely satisfied with their current rate of cloud transformation. Clearly, there should be a better way!
The Aptum Cloud Impact Study surveyed and reports on the experiences and opinions of 400 senior IT professionals in the US, Canada and UK. It crosses the financial services, IT, technology, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, public and commercial sectors. The Study provides valuable insights for organizations in the planning stages, or those well down the road on a cloud transformation.
