One of our shared values is the importance of being stewards of the community. We actively engage with and support the communities we serve, not only today but also in the future. To achieve this, we believe it is important to operate a sustainable business.
This commitment informs every aspect of Aptum—from how we design and build our products and services to our engagements with stakeholders and our supply chain.
But actions speak louder than words. Here’s what we’re doing to encourage a better, healthier, more sustainable future
Carbon-free by 2030
We’re determined to surpass carbon neutrality and achieve net zero GHG emissions by 2030. As a Digital Bridge portfolio company, we aim to achieve net zero using the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) definition, covering Scope 1, 2, and all significant Scope 3 GHG emissions.
Energy efficient infrastructure and operations
Aptum consistently strives towards optimizing energy management and efficiency across its infrastructure and data centers through rigorous Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) reporting, process optimization, and hardware improvements. We require all third-party data centers and colocation providers to supply renewable energy certificates.
Responsible resource management
We work to keep functional hardware out of landfills via external auctions and donations to schools and charities across our geographical footprint. Additionally, we ensure that non-functional, end-of-life equipment is disposed of and recycled in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
Supplier and vendor accountability
In addition to managing energy consumption and emissions from our infrastructure, we extend our efforts to include our suppliers and operations directly under our control. Our responsible procurement initiatives ensure that, wherever possible, we work with suppliers who share similar values and governance practices as ours.
